A few lines when I have something to say.

I’m writing book five right now.
Some people have opinions about my books. I’m grateful for all of it, even the ones that sting. They do get to me, though. Some make the day lighter. Some make it harder.
So I keep it simple. I want to write the story I want to write. That’s it. Then I go do that. It helps to tell myself that.
Writing has never been easy for me. I still want to do it. I know that sounds strange. Maybe every writer is like this.

So Almost Us got a number one this week. Free chart, Friends to Lovers. I keep opening the page just to look at it.
I should probably say I paid for the push. Newsletters. You pay them, they tell people your book is free. Everybody does it. Nobody knows who I am yet, so that’s the door.
The funny part is I’m terrible at being looked at. I’m shy, the hide-in-the-kitchen-at-parties kind. And here I am paying money so strangers will look at me.
